Thanks to all the bowlers that participated in the Tournament. The current leaders have been posted on the Tournament page. Within the next two weeks all scores and prize money will be finalized. Thanks again to all of the Sponsors that have helped to make the tournament prize fund over $3000 this year. Looking forward to see everyone next year.

There is a lot of time slots open so you should not have a hard time finding time to bowl. Come on out and practice your skills before you go to the State Tournament.

It’s time for everyone to start to put your teams together and send in your application for the City Tournament. Application deadline is April 15th! The tournament is being held at The Bavarian Hall ( Frank Gerhart Lanes). If you go to the tournament page, there is a link there to print out the application. There are applications in the local bowling houses. Get moving and good luck.

The City Tournament is approaching very soon. The application deadline is April 11 2016. If you navigate to the tournament page on the web site you can see the Squads with dates and times. Also there are links there so you can download an application if needed. The Altoona USBC has added an additional $1000.00 to this tournament. Please help make this local event become a success, by joining the tournament and have fun with all of the local bowlers.

To all of the local bowlers that finished in any the top ten positions at the Pennsylvania State Tournament. Congratulations and thank you for representing the bowlers of the Altoona District. The Altoona district bowling association will pay for your bowling sanction this year. So you will need to contact Ken Poorman, he needs info on what event you placed in and what league you normally would pay your sanction in.
